Deutsche Bank Alex. Brown, the US Private Client Services division of Deutsche Bank Securities Inc. and Deutsche Bank Private Wealth Management, has appointed Shawn Sullivan as a Director and Client Advisor in its Boston office. Sullivan joins the firm from UBS Financial Services where he was a senior vice president and a financial advisor.

Putnam Investments' Charles Haldeman, Jr. stepped down from his positions as chairman of Putnam Investment Management, president of the Putnam Funds and member of the Board of Trustees of the Putnam Funds. Robert L. Reynolds, president and CEO of Putnam Investments and a trustee of the Putnam Funds, will replace Haldeman as president of the Putnam Funds.

Morgan Stanley hired Jack DiMaio as the Global Head of Interest Rate, Credit and Currency trading. DiMaio previously served as the head of fixed income at Credit Suisse.

Barclays Wealth hired Mitch Cox from Merrill Lynch as managing director and head of the Global Investment & Product Office. At Merrill Lynch Global Wealth Management, Cox recently headed up the Global Investment Solutions Group.
