SSB Employee Info; Greenwich St. SSB Office Closed

The following information comes from today’s CNBC broadcast:

Salomon Smith Barney’s Greenwich St. office will be closed. Employees at that location should call 877-404-2114. (The number was initially misreported during the broadcast.)

Employees who work from 14th Street on down should not report to work until they hear from supervisors, said Tom Matthews, EVP.

Asset management employees should call 877-337-4881.

Greenwhich St. employees can check www.salomonsmithbarney.com.; all others go to www.citigroup.com.

Everybody at 7 WTC got out, said Matthews, as did all at the Greenwich headquarters. But the area will be filled with emergency personnel, so the firm is evacuating to other sites.
