Registered Rep: If you weren't an advisor, what could you see yourself doing?

Timothy Halls: Teaching. I get to do a lot of that as an advisor, and I love it.

RR: Three feelings you want your clients to take away from a meeting?

TH: Trust, confidence in their plan, and relief that someone's taking care of their “stuff.”

RR: Biggest challenge for advisors?

TH: The media's proclivity for creating undue panic; “The Chicken-Little Syndrome.”

RR: Someone who inspires you?

TH: Jesus Christ. He did the right thing, even when it was hard.

RR: Best part of being a Dad?

TH: Babysitters — just kidding! Seeing my children's unbridled enthusiasm about the simplest things — like me getting home at night.

RR: Describe a Moneta softball game in three words or less.

TH: Repeat League Champions.

RR: What music can be found on your piano right now?

TH: None. I play by ear. I've recently been learning Hannah Montana songs to play for my kids.

RR: Most memorable performance with your band?

TH: Our first show — a blanket and cooler party in my backyard!

RR: Most rewarding community service experience?

TH: I was on the board of Prevent Child Abuse Missouri for 10 years. We did a lot of good!

RR: Best motorcycle trip you've taken?

TH: I've never been on a motorcycle that was turned on.
