LPL Financial hired Christopher Poch as executive vice president of wealth management and CEO of the firm's trust services subsidiary, The Private Trust Company. Prior to joining LPL, Poch served as managing director of Smith Barney's Private Wealth Management unit.
Jackson National Life Insurance Company promoted John Koehler to vice president of the Retirement and Wealth Strategies Group. Koehler was previously director of that group, a position he had filled since joining Jackson in 2005.
Merrill Lynch Co-President and Chief Operating Officer, Ahmass L. Fakahany, retired last month after more than 20 years with the firm.
Morningstar promoted Karen Dolan to director of fund analysis on its mutual fund staff. Dolan was previously a senior analyst and lead analyst on the Morgan Stanley, Janus, and Marsico fund families.
