UBS has brought in two top-producing advisors. David Kinnear left Morgan Stanley's private wealth group to join Frank Maroni's office in Chicago. Kinnear is said to manage more than $140 million. Also, UBS scooped up Tom Hulick from Bank of America. He will join the Los Angeles office, run by Wes Jennison; Hulick reportedly manages more than $330 million.

Bank of America's global wealth and investment management division has named executives to run its private banking and brokerage departments. Jane Farley Magpiong was named president of the private banking division, and Tim Maloney is the new president and CEO of Banc of America Investment Services. Each has worked for the company previously. Magpiong replaces Michael Santo.

Gary Neuser has been named the new head of private client services at Credit Suisse First Boston. He comes to the firm from UBS, where he was senior vice president, and replaces Jeff Salzman. Neuser also has worked for Merrill Lynch.

Smith Barney has hired Russell Morton as director of the firm's private client group branch system. Morton has worked for the firm for 23 years, most recently as division director of Smith Barney's southern region. He will be in charge of the branch network for the firm. He previously worked for E.F. Hutton and Shearson Lehman Brothers.
