The little guy isn't as angry as he used to be, or so it seems. Securities class-action lawsuit filings were at their lowest level in a decade in the first half of this year, according to a report from Stanford University and Cornerstone Research. Between January and June, 61 class-action lawsuits seeking damages over falling stock prices were filed, versus 111 in the first half of 2005. The last time first-half filings were lower was 1996, with 47.
