Ivy League endowments did not post Ivy League performance in fiscal 2009. Endowments at Harvard, Yale and Brown turned in the worst performance for the period between July 1, 2008 and June 30, 2009, according to the National Association of College and University Business Officer's 2009 Commonfund Study of Endowments, which examined 842 institutions with a combined $306 billion in assets.
