Merrill Lynch named Peter S. Kraus executive vice president and a member of the firm's management committee. Kraus will report to Chairman and CEO, John A. Thain. Kraus joins Merrill from Goldman Sachs, where he was co-head of the investment management division and member of the management committee.
Fidelity Investments announced that Larry C. Renfro, who held several senior positions at the firm in the 1980s and has been president and chief executive of AARP Services for the past three years, is rejoining the firm to oversee a new division called Fidelity Developing Businesses.
