Prudential Investments has named Stuart Parker as president, succeeding Judy Rice, who will retire at the end of 2012. Rice is serving as chairman of Prudential Investments until her retirement. Parker has served as head of retail distribution for Jennison Associates, an asset management arm of Prudential Financial, and head of mutual fund distribution for Prudential Investments.
Mike Anderson has joined Securities America as vice president of financial institutions and business growth. In this newly created position, Anderson will lead the firm's institutions division serving banks and credit unions, and assist with relationship management, business growth, and mergers and acquisitions. Previously, Anderson was a vice president of development and executive coach for Leadership Resources, a management development company.
Cambridge Investment Research has tapped Crystal Neubauer as director of education and events. In the role, Neubauer will lead the corporate training, conference, and wealth management teams. Previously, she helped build out the firm's internal training department and implement a new online registration and training system.
