Artists have always needed wealthy patrons. Bet you didn’t know that UBS’s headquarters at 1285 Avenue of the Americas (bet. 51st and 52nd streets) in New York City also serves as an art gallery, featuring four art shows a year.

Starting Thursday, 16 August, reports the New York Sun, a daily newspaper known for its Libertarian op-ed columns and its strong arts coverage, the UBS lobby is featuring performance art pieces. In one piece called, “All The President’s Zombies, artist Tim Hutchings, the paper says, “takes on the corporate boardroom in his Live Action Role Playing (LARP) game. . . . Mr. Hutchins invites participants to play a role in the presidential cabinet and to react to plausible and fantastical catastrophes befalling America.”

In another piece across the lobby, er, gallery (and more befitting a financial institution such as UBS), is “Ana Prvacki's take on a money laundering service: Ms. Prvacki will personally clean your money one bill at a time with her ‘Money Laundering Wet Wipes,’” the Sun says.

This exhibit runs until November 9th. Admission is free, and the gallery is open from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. weekdays.
