Constellation Wealth Advisors, an independent multi-family investment office, announced that Christopher M. Smith has joined the firm as principal. Prior to joining Constellation, Smith was the Director of the Corporate Client Group at RBC Capital Markets.

PrimeVest Financial hired Jim Scattergood as an independent community financial institution director. Most recently, Scattergood served as chief financial officer and chief operating officer of TCF Investments.

Mark A. Dzierzak joined Mesiro Financial as a senior vice president in its Retirement Plan Advisory group. Dzierzak was previously at Deloitte Consulting.

Putnam Investments announced that Paul P. Heffernan has joined the firm as Northeast director of sales for Putnam Global Institutional Management. Heffernan joins Putnam from EIM Management (USA) Inc.
