Lincoln Financial Group's chairman and CEO, Jon A. Boscia, has announced his retirement from the company effective Sept. 1, 2007. The company's board of directors has elected J. Patrick Barrett chairman of the board, and named current president and chief operating officer, Dennis R. Glass, as its new CEO.

Marcel Rohner was appointed UBS Group CEO, replacing Peter Wuffli. Raoul Weil will succeed Rohner as chairman and CEO of Global Wealth Management and Business Banking.

Morgan Stanley Global Wealth Management Group hired Rick Capozzi as managing director and national sales manager. Capozzi was previously at Merrill Lynch, where since 2004 he served as managing director and head of business development.

National Planning Corporation, an independent broker/dealer based in Santa Monica, Calif., announced the promotion of Kirsten Bosch to first vice president of branch development.

Merrill Lynch elected Carol Tecla Christ, the president of Smith College, to the company's board of directors. Christ has also been named to the public policy and responsibility committee on the board.
