Jerry Brown, Terry Kelley and Mark Strynar have joined Morgan Stanley with $178 million assets under management. Brown and Strynar were formerly senior vice presidents at UBS. The team, located in Florida, produces $2.1 million in revenue.

Marcus “Marc” Mears has been appointed senior vice president of brokerage sales at Mutual of Omaha. Mears was previously the senior vice president of marketing and sales at KMG America Corporation.

Jim Luallen joined Piper Jaffray as a financial advisor within the private client services division.

Wachovia Securities has appointed Theresa Roddy as the firm's director of quality and service. In this newly created position, Roddy will lead the firm's organizational efforts to sustain and further improve the quality and delivery of service to financial advisors and clients. She was previously the firm's northeast regional president for its private client group.
