Industry consultant Mark Tibergien has joined Pershing Advisor Solutions as CEO and a member of its executive committee. Prior to joining Pershing, Tibergien was principal at the accounting and consulting firm, Moss Adams LLP.

In conjunction with the opening of its two newest trust representative offices in Orlando, Fla., and Houston, Texas, UBS Wealth Management hired Glen Rives and Dean Bosco as Trust Consultants. Rives joins UBS from Fox & Associates in Houston, where he was an attorney. Bosco was previously at Wachovia Bank, where he was vice president and senior trust advisor.

Morgan Stanley announced that it has promoted Jack Mueller to Rocky Mountain District Manager in its Global Wealth Management Group. He will oversee the firm's 14 branch offices in that region. Mueller joined Morgan Stanley in 1989. Most recently he was head of North American equity research.

Focus Financial, an RIA holding company with more than $20 billion in assets under management, hired Richard Gill and Bettina Eckerle. Gill, formerly of Charles Schwab, has been named vice president at the firm, and will support advisors transitioning to independence. Eckerle has joined as general counsel.
